Mon. 4/28: (60 min) Watch 2 clips from “The Making of the Fittest” video by HHMI – Natural Selection and Adaptation and The Birth and Death of Genes.  Take notes into your notebook. If you are absent, you can watch them online by clicking the links.  Start doing the Amino Acids and Evolutionary Relationships lab.

Tues. 4/29; (40/30min) Finish the Amino Acids and Evolutionary Relationships lab.

Wed. 4/30: (100min) Whale Evolution computer lab.  Finish by Friday.

Thurs. 5/1: (30/40min) Speciation and Evolution – discuss sexual selection, isolating mechanisms, coevolution and convergent evolution.

Fri. 5/2: (40min)  Watch 2 video clips from the video “The origin of Species – The Beak of the Finch .  If you are absent, you can watch it online by clicking the links.  Take notes into your notebooks.  Then work on the ECA practice packet.  Turn in what you finish in class. HW:  notebooks collected on Monday – I will grade all movie notes, Amino Acid lab, Whale Evolution lab.
