Tues 9/3 (day 2, 60 min): WU – Atoms. Discuss covalent and hydrogen bonds using the magnetic water models. Set up your BILL for chapter 2.  HW: have all papers glued into BILL for chapter 2 (cover page with tab divider, table of contents, chapter overview, vocabulary, notes from today). I will collect BILLS for grading chapter 1 tomorrow.

Wed. 9/4 (day 3, 40 min): WU – Bonds Properties of Water Foldable. Discuss solutions.  HW: begin reading book sections 2.1 Water and 2.2 Acids and Bases

Thurs 9/5 (day 4, 100 min):  WU -Properties of water x2  Water Lab  HW: finish reading 2.1 and 2.2 of textbook. Quiz next week over water and pH. 

Fri. 9/6 (day 5, 30 min):  WU -pH. Discuss taking pH. Time to finish Water Lab.  HW: Quiz Tuesday over water and pH (see study guide on chapter overview #1-4 and practice worksheets under Review tab above for help). Vocab for sections 2.1 and 2.2 due Tuesday.
